Born in Hamilton, MS on, June 24, 1933 gained her heavenly wings on May 14, 2019, At the blessed age of 85. She was former First Lady of Lady of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a member of Anathoth Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband Charkes Lee Burks,Sr. Parents of Ronald "Ronnie" and Kendell. Sylester and Slyvestine. Daughter-in-Laws Shirley Ann, Angel, Son Henry C, James Jr, and Jerry W. SistersGladys A. Prince and Connie, Sue Williams. She survived by sons Gregory (Judge Emanuella) Groves, Reginald (Brenda) Groves, Darryl (Francine) Goves, and Chauncy "Chucky" (Sheila) Burks; daughters LaDawn Burks, Daughter in law Andrea "Angie" Wilson all of Cleveland, brothers Charles Franklin Smith of Detroit, MI and William David Smith (Kimberly) of Seattle WA; sisters Annie Adams (Joe) of Warrensville Hts,OH and Linda McGhee of Cleveland, granddaughters, LaRynda Burks, Destiny Wilson and 22 other Grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.Calling hours will be held, Saturday, May 29, 2019, from 10am-12pm at Watson Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Ave, Cleveland,OH 44106.
