MARY C. BUSCH CRACKENBERGER, 87 PEARL CITY - Mary C. Busch Crackenberger, 87 yrs. old, of Freeport and formerly of Pearl City passed away on June 20, 2014 at Heritage Woods. She was born on Nov. 19, 1926 in Alexandria, South Dakota the daughter of Bernard & Ruth (Van Ness) Roth. She was a 1946 graduate of Alexandria High School. She married Harold Crackenberger at the Methodist Church in Pearl City, he preceded her in death. Mary was a retired employee of Micro Switch, a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Freeport; she also attended the Ebenezer-Salem United Methodist Church of Christ. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Moose, and Pearl City American Legion Auxiliary; she volunteered at many places and loved playing Bingo. Mary is survived by five sons, Wayne (Linda) Crackenberger, Bernard (Theresa) Crackenberger, Gary Crackenberger of Pearl City, Mark Crackenberger of Freeport and Scott (Lora) Crackenberger of Bonny Lake, WA; five daughters, Diane (Mark) Mutchler, Pamela (Steve) Labudde, and Joanne (Craig) Willits of Freeport, Peggy Klenz (Mark Goode) of Rockford, and Cheryl (Mike) Liebenstein of Pearl City; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews and one brother, Darrell (Leota) Roth of Mitchell, SD. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one brother, Loran (Ruby). Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Julie Bunt officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the church until the time of service. Burial of her cremains will be in Alexandria, South Dakota.
