RED LION Mary D. "Dot" (Green) Coker, 95, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at her home. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Coker. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 1p.m. at Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with her pastor, the Rev. David Brenneman officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Glen Rock Union Cemetery. Dot was born on August 31, 1919, a daughter of the late George E. and Eleanor F. (Gerlach) Green. She retired from Amp, Inc. in 1981, where she was a receiving inspector for 27 years. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Glen Rock, the Viking Club, and the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403 of Glen Rock where she served as a Treasurer and was a part of its Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Coker leaves a daughter, Susan E. Duvall of Red Lion; a granddaughter, Samantha J. Smith and her husband Timothy; and two great-grandsons, Owen J. Smith and Evan M. Smith. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
