Bodart, Mary E.Mary Ellen Bodart, formerly Mary Ellen Lorenz, passed away peacefully at Hospice Home of Hope on December 26, 2016. Mary was born on March 28, 1953 in Fond du Lac to Alfred and Johanna (Habib) Hupfer. Mary graduated from Goodrich High School in 1971. She married Gregory Bodart on September 21, 1985.Mary was a child-specific aide in the Rosendale-Brandon School District. Mary loved her grandchildren. Her life was enriched by her relationship with her special granddaughter, Elaney. She was proud of her Lebanese heritage and had a special affinity for Lebanese food. Mary loved animals and traveling with her husband, especially to see her brother, Jimmy, in Florida. She enjoyed spending time at her cottage on the lake. Most of all, she lived her life helping and caring for all she met.Mary is survived by her husband, Greg; children, Cynthia (Jeff) Kreinke and their children, Ryan, Mara and Evan, Gina (Randy) Redmann and their children, Elaney and Levi, Blake (Michelle) Bodart and their children, Dana, Damon, Mackenzie, Gavin and Madysen, Burgundy (Jack) Romskog and their children, Lydia, Emma and Leighna and Bethany (Mark) Goodwin and their children, Gabriel, Kyleigh, Madisen and McKenna. Mary is further survived by her brothers, George Hupfer, Naples, FL and Gregory (Ann) Hupfer, Fond du Lac, a sister-in-law, Donna Hupfer, Holly Hill, FL, nieces, other relatives and many friends.Mary was preceded by her parents, and one brother, A. James Hupfer.Visitation: Mary's family welcomes relatives and friends to the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac, on Friday, December 30th, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Smiles and memory-sharing are encouraged. Cremation has taken place. There will not be a memorial service.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's name to St. Agnes Hospice Home of Hope.Zacherl Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
