On January 2, 2025, Mary Clyburn of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away at the age of 86. She was born on February 17, 1938, to Thurman and Margaret Shreve. Mary married Every Lee Clyburn in 1976 and together they had eight children: Diana, Alan, Timothy Sr(deceased), Mark, Crystal(deceased), Jakarta(James Dyer III), Latoya(Ian Stevenson), and Tasha(Bernard Stevenson).
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who brought joy and laughter to all those around her. She had a quick wit and a contagious smile that could light up any room.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Mary's legacy lives on through her twenty-four grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and the memories they shared with her.
Rest in peace, Mary Clyburn, may your spirit continue to shine bright.
