Ms. Mary Hayes, beloved resident of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 89.

Born on April 25, 1935, Mary lived a full and vibrant life. She was a devoted mother to Alfreda Glispie, Elizabeth Boone (spouse Lee Boone), and Freddie Hayes Jr.

In addition to her children, Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and care through her 10 cherished grandchildren: Andre and Latrice Foster, Sadie and Julius Glispie, Theresa, Sharon, Nathaniel, Joseph, Pamela and Timothy Boone.

Throughout her life, Mary was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She brought joy to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.

She battled Alzheimer’s, dementia, and a heart condition with grace and courage, leaving behind a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
