Helbach, MaryMary "Manetta" Helbach, 87, of Stevens Point, died unexpectedly at her home early Sunday morning.She was born on April 6, 1929, in Lanark, to the late Anthony and Hazel (Jones) Riley, and step-mother, Edna Riley. On Nov. 11, 1944, she was married to William Helbach at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lanark.After their marriage, the couple settled in Almond where they raised their seven children and were employed as farmers before moving to their present address in 1972.Mary was employed at St. Michael's Hospital for 22 years, retiring in 1994. She loved her family and enjoyed talking about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and showing her precious pictures to everyone she met.Surviviors include her three sons, Joseph (Mary Kay) of Stevens Point, Riley (Marlene) and Patrick Helbach both of Almond; three daughters, Anne (Stanley) Glisczinski of Almond, Nancy (Keith) Wirtz of Rudolph, and Colleen Raschka of Stevens Point; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nedra Christensen of Waupaca, and Sharon (Jerry) Kurzynski of Amherst; two brothers, Dean Riley of Waupaca, and Richard Riley of Georgia.Mary was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; step-mother; one brother, Ronald; one son, Terry; one grandson, Joseph; one great-grandson, Brandon; and one son-in-law, Harold.The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Holy Spirit Parish, 838 Fremont Street, Stevens Point, with the Rev. James Kurzynski officiating. Burial will take place in St. Martin's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday (today) at Pisarski Funeral Home, 703 Second St. in Stevens Point, and again at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time for Mass.
