Mary was born on October 27, 1942, in Maxton, North Carolina to parents Eddie Babe Wallace and Omera McCray.

Mary went to school in Laurinburg, North Carolina. In 1968 Mary moved to Washington DC with her 4 Children. She was a head cook at a few nursing homes in Washington, DC. She loved being at card games with her mother. She loved to cook for the family when we came into town. When she became sick, she would stay in the house and watch Lifetime, also loves going to stores and shopping Especially when her niece Gwen would come to town.

She was preceded in death by her mother Omera McCray, and her father Eddie Babe Wallace, Her 3 Children Theresa Pipkin, Jerry Pipkin, and Michael Pipkin, Two sisters Katherine Wallace and Meggie Bryan, and 4 Brothers Wilbert, Lee, Charles, and James Edward Wallace.

In addition, to her parents and children, and siblings, she is survived by Daughter Debra Pipkin of Washington DC, Sister Mae Marsh of Dover Delaware, Sister Annie Vivian Wallace of Eaton Town New Jersey, 4 Grandchildren Tony of Kansas, Marquil of New York, Shantil of New York and Gary of Washington DC. 2 Great grands of Kansa.
