Wied, Mary J.Mary J. Wied, 73, Green Bay, died Sunday, August 13, 2017. She was born on January 26, 1944, in Rock Hill, SC to Kenneth and Irma (Sorenson) Shambeau.Mary was raised in Green Bay where she graduated from St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1962. She was owner/operator of Bay City Supply until her retirement in 2011. Mary enjoyed her dogs, birds, gardening, laughing yoga at her parish. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary was a past President of the Edgewater Beach Association.She is survived by her children, Thomas K. Wied (Catherine), Michelle "Missy" Parsons (fiancé, Steve Stadler), and Jim (Sarah) Wied; grandchildren, John, Mike, Grant, Frannie, Maddy, Pierre; and her former spouse, Thomas A. Wied.Mary was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Noah; and her parents.Friends may call at St. Louis Catholic Church, N8726 County Line Rd., Dyckesville, from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. John Van Deuren and Pastoral Leader, Pat Ratajczak officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
