Mary Jane Ball GarrawayJacksonMary Jane Ball Garraway died May 12, 2017.  She was born on July 15, 1929, in Crawford, Mississippi to Susan Elizabeth and Dallie Lee Ball.  She attended high school in Tylertown, Mississippi and business school in Jackson, Mississippi.  Mary Jane was married to Robert Charles (Buzzy) Garraway.Mary Jane loved to ride horses in her younger years and spent many hours riding the trails with her daughters at Robinwood Farms.  An avid bridge player, she played duplicate bridge at ACBL Club in Jackson and attained Gold Life Master.  In her later years, Mary Jane made beautiful quilts for family and special friends.  Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Charles Ball; and her sisters, Polly Grace Bryan, Tut Ball, and Edna Earl Andrews.  Survivors include her daughters: Leigh Barrier, Kay French (Miller), and Susan Garraway Anderson all of Madison.  Grandchildren include Way Barrier (Kim), Deen Barrier (Lauren), Norman French, Thomas French, Max Anderson, Garraway Anderson and great grandson, Bronson Barrier.  She also leaves behind brother, Billy Ray Ball, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.Memorials may be made to Stewpot Ministries, the Mississippi Animal Rescue League or a .Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the parlor at Galloway United Methodist Church.  A celebration of life will take place Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Galloway.  The family would like to thank Manhattan Nursing and Rehab for providing a wonderful, caring home the last few years.
