Mary Jane Watson-ZampantiJohnson City: Mary Jane (Maida) Altizer Watson Zampanti passed away on June 14th, 2017, at her daughter's home in Johnson City, TN. Mary Jane was born on April 29, 1934 in Man, West Virginia. She was the youngest and last living of seven children to the late Julius and Mary Altizer of Man, WV. She was member of the Deltona Christian Church where she had served as deacon of the church for many years. She spent the majority of her life in Newark, Ohio. She was a very loving, kind and understanding lady. Mary (Maida) is preceded in death by her loving husbands, Gerald Watson and Anthony Zampanti. Sisters, Joan Altizer, Martha Frances Altizer, brothers, Nedford Altizer, Danny Altizer, Harry Altizer and Rupert Altizer, son-in-law, Donald Heatwole of Newark, OH.Mary Jane Watson-Zampanti has left behind to cherish her memories: Daughters: Rebecca S. Watson of Columbus, OH, Jennifer A. Heatwole of Johnson City, Tn., Sara Jane Pack and husband, Shawn, Granddaughter; Heather L. Glatz, and husband Joe, Grandson's; Christopher and Gabriel, Great Grandson's Taylor and Joseph, Great Granddaughter, Olivia; Niece, Gail Kraft and husband Dick, nephew's; Danny Altizer and wife Mary, Robert Altizer and wife Lisa.A private family memorial to honor and celebrate the life of "Maida" was held in Johnson City, Tn.I won't be far away for life goes on. So, if you need me. Call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near. And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear all of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone. I'll great you with a smile, and "Welcome Home".
