Mary Jeanette Hanna, beloved daughter of Mary and Elwin Hanna, was born on January 20, 1943, in San Diego, California. She passed away on February 28, 2024, in Cleburne, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary's life was one of love, dedication, and service to others. She was a devoted mother to her children, Dennis Hunsicker, Gregory Hunsicker, and Diann Valero. Marry was also a cherished mother-in-law to Gayle Hunsicker. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her son Dennis and his wife Gayle, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience.
Despite the challenges she faced, Mary found strength in her faith and in the love of her family. She is survived by her son Gregory Hunsicker and his wife Jennifer of Rio Vista, Texas, her daughter Diann Valero and her husband Mike of Cleburne, Texas, her brother Herbert Hanna and his wife Diana of Blythe, California, 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mary's memory will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind.
Mary dedicated much of her life to her work as an accountant for Transportation Logistics, where her attention to detail and strong work ethic were admired by all who knew her. She was a valued member of her community and a faithful member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith.
In her spare time, Mary was an avid painter, crocheter, and nature enthusiast. She was a former Girl Scout Leader who found joy in guiding and mentoring young girls. Mary had a special fondness for feeding birds and squirrels, finding peace and tranquility in the simple moments of life.
Mary Jeanette Hanna touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends, and her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Mary, knowing that you are loved beyond measure and will never be forgotten.
