We were graced with her life on September 22, 1940. A woman so full of integrity, honesty, and love with a quick wit that made everyone embrace her with adoration. Pastor Mary Love was our queen.

She is survived by her sons and daughter, Willie June Love, Jerry (Rosalyn) Love, Troy Love, Sr., William (Wanda) Love, Sampson Love, Shelly (Ronald) Tyson, and Gary (Francine) Love. She had 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind one brother, William "Shorty" Wells, and three sisters: Nancy Wells, Dolly Wells, and Barbara Johnson.

It was often said that she was a friend to all and mother to many. Her heartfelt sermons and songs were an uplifting melody to all who were blessed to hear them. She traveled the country with her granddaughter, Angel Love, by her side, ministering to all who wanted to hear about the goodness of Jesus. Her soul is now resting in heaven.

You ran a good race and fought a good fight. We shall carry on your legacy and the inherited melodies you have given us will forever play in our hearts. Rest until we meet again.
