Mary Lee Sczesny, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 8th.

Mary Lee is survived by her son Stephen and daughter Colleen, and her three grandchildren; her siblings Dan, Mark, Tim, Steve, Patrick, Jeff, and Jane (Ricchiuto). She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Dorothy, sister Linda, and brother Thomas.

Mary Lee always placed the needs of others before herself and felt her best when she was helping other people. She was a passionate artist, and loved nature and animals of every kind. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her living room painting a picture with a dog or cat of hers close by on the couch.

There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00am July 23rd at Saint Rose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations made in her name made to the Lucas County Humane Society.
