Mary Littleton, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on June 7, 1935, she lived a full and rich life dedicated to serving others. Mary is proceeded in death by her parents Amanda and Lossie Newsome, husband Sidney Littleton, Two Brothers Clarence Newsome and LS Newsome and her Son in Law Eugene Purry. Mary leaves behind her children Norma Jean Purry and Emanuel Littleton (Nikki Roundtree). Her grandchildren Sidney Purry, Lashuanda Purry- Brown (Xavier Brown) LaKenya Purry Natasha Littleton, Brittany Martin- Littleton. 4 Great-grandchildren Maggie Williams, Anthony Littleton, D'Andre Johnson and Zoolian Littleton, She also leave 2 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews as well as friends and God children. She became a member of White's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in the early 1960's. She was on various committees and boards while at White's Chapel. She was over the Cooking Ministry, The Usher Board Junior Choir, Mission Ministry just to name a few. Mary was known for her kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering generosity. She touched the lives of many with her selflessness and compassion. Mary's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
