On May 24, 1943, the Lord gave the late, Letha Dell White and the late, L.A. Bray a precious gift and they called her Maggie. At the time of her passing she was a member of Griffin United Methodist Church. She was, also, an honorary member of the Order of Eastern Star, Stars of Virtue chapter #1069, MF&AM Inc.
On July18, 2009, the Lord called Maggie home and our lives have forever changed. Maggie graduated from Mississippi University for Women and began her nursing career at Eckford Clinic. During her career, she also worked at Starkville Manor Nursing Home, did private duty nursing, and at Choctaw Medical Center in Ackerman, MS. Maggie retired from nursing in 1999 after 23 years of service at Oktibbeha County Hospital.
Maggie leaves to cherish the memories of her life: her husband of 36 years, Walter Zuber; her children: Ronald (Gloria) Brooks of Ewa Beach, HI; Darlene Brooks of Columbus, MS and Juliette Nicole Zuber of Starkville, MS, her grandchildren: Bradley and Johnathan Brandon of Columbus, MS; Darius Brooks of Ewa Beach, HI; Aaliyah Brandon of Columbus, MS, and Eron Myles Minor of Starkville, MS; her siblings: Tommy (Lucille) Brandon of Huntsville, AL; Linda Curry, Derek and Gary Brandon of Starkville, MS; and Kenneth Brandon of Holly Springs, MS; a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
