Mary Louise Henry Mary Louise Henry, 76, wife of John Walker Henry, of Dataw Island, SC, died peacefully Friday, December 25, 2015 in Beaufort Memorial Hospital with her husband at her side. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 10:30 AM with inurnment in St. Peter's Memorial Gardens. Mary Louise was born on September 14, 1939 in Grosse Pointe, MI. She is the daughter of the late Dr. Timothy Francis Lynch and Mary Olive (Steiner) Lynch. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Dataw Island Club and Country Club of Detroit. She graduated from University of Detroit School of Dental Hygiene and was a practicing Dental Hygienist for 40 years. A lifelong resident of the various Grosse Pointes in Michigan Mary Lou and Walker moved to Dataw Island after retirement. Prior to being incapacitated by stroke, she was an avid golfer and gardener. She also loved volunteering, and visiting the sick and elderly. Surviving in addition to her husband, John Walker Henry; are two sons, Michael Scanlon Henry and his wife, Ann of Maplewood, NJ and Brendan Lynch Henry of Germantown MD; two sisters, Patricia Carroll Adams and Suzanne Lessing; and triplet grandchildren Evan, Joanna Louise and Ian Henry She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Terrance and James Lynch In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Friends of Caroline Hospice, 1110 13th Street, Port Royal, SC 29935. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
