TIPP CITY — Mary Louise Lafferty, 91, formerly of Tipp City passed away on Oct. 19, 2016, at the Wellington at Dayton.

Mary was born on Nov. 16, 1924, in Piqua, OH to the late Homer Reitz Sr. and Mary (Seipel) Reitz.

She was a graduate of Piqua Catholic High School and prior to marriage, worked at Waco Aircraft Company in Troy.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Herman J. Lafferty; brothers, Homer Reitz Jr. and Robert Reitz and a sister, Dorothy Reitz. Mary is survived by sons Terence (Patricia Mangan), Patrick and Phillip Lafferty; a daughter Ann (Micheal May); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.

Visitation will be held October 23, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City; Father R. Marc Sherlock, Celebrant. There will be additional visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass at the church. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
