Jacksonville, NC | After an extended illness, Mary Katherine (Kay) Lovett, age 75, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, in Charleston, WV. She was born on November 10, 1940, in Huttonsville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Gladys and Junior Green and Lulla Belle and Fred Cascarelli. She is preceded in death by Charles Robert (Bob) Lovett, her husband of 42 years; brother, Robert Green; and granddaughter, Marissa Manor.She is survived by four daughters, Sandy Junkins of Morris, South Carolina; Robin Sizemore and husband Dan of Charleston, WV; Mary Ruth Gines of Ely, NV; and Felicia Lovett of Kernersville, NC; one son, Charles (Chuck) Lovett II of Jacksonville, NC; seven grandchildren, Ranee White, Patricia Stallard, Jeni Qualls, Zach Anglin, Anthony Lovett, Christopher Manor, and Allison Vincellette, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Blackwelder of Richlands, NC, and Fredricka Amos and husband Ernie of Clarksburg, WV.Kay retired from Onslow Memorial Hospital in 2003, and was a member of the Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Jones Funeral Home at 303 Chaney Avenue Jacksonville, NC, and services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Following the service, a noon burial will be held at Coastal Carolina State Veteran Cemetery in Jacksonville.
