Mary Medrano, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was born on December 20, 1934. She worked for the El Paso Independent Schools District for 28 years. Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Manuel Medrano, two brother, Robert (Shannon) Smith, Charles (Jane) Smith, Six children - Rose Gwyn, Manuel E. Medrano (Romelia), Chris(Mario) Bazán, Susan Delong, Martha Medrano and Maria Williams. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Louise Smith, Brother David Smith, son Michael Medrano and grandsons, Samuel Medrano and Paul Medrano. There will be a gathering on Tuesday May 9, 2017 from 5-7pm at Getz Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
