Sage, Mary Pat (Nee Kenehan ) Age 73, was born to eternal life on November 17, 2016 after a brief struggle with cancer. Mary Pat was born on January 6, 1943, the beloved daughter of the late J. Kenneth and Margaret K. (nee Pendergast) Kenehan. Mary Pat married the love of her life, Dennis K. Sage on September 5, 1964. She was the proud mother of six children: John (Su Zhang) Sage, Robert (Kelly) Sage, the late Michael Sage, Susanne (David) Wypasek, Daniel (Dawn) Sage and Thomas (fiancee Jessica George) Sage. She is lovingly remembered as "Nana" by her grandchildren: David, Alexander, Anna, Maxwell, Elizabeth, Saraphine and Joseph Sage; Marie, Veronica, Dominic, Xavier, Magdelyn, and Jerome Wypasek; and Daniel and Lily Li. Mary Pat was the beloved sister-in-law of Patricia (nee Sage) Mack, Barbara Sage and Mary K. Sage. She will remain in the hearts and memories of her nieces and nephews; Leisha, Breanne and Spencer Sage, Katie (Vito) Parente and their children Vito and Anthony. She will be further missed by Laura Sage and her many friends at Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and Holy Apostles Catholic Church and School. Mary was pleased to be viewed as the oldest sister of the Pendergast family and a central member of the Kenehan and Wagner families. Mary Pat graduated from Marquette University with a degree in History and Psychology in 1964 and taught 5th grade at St. Gregory the Great. In 1990 she became a legal secretary for the law firm of her father, husband and son. She happily devoted her life to raising and influencing the lives of her family. Mary Pat loved hosting parties for her family and friends. Her interests in addition to her family, were cooking crafting and sewing. She created countless clothes, sweaters, costumes, decorations, baptismal gowns, baby blankets, and her daughter's wedding dress. Her love for babies and caring for others led her to be involved in the Elizabeth Ministry baby showers at Holy Apostles and volunteering to assist and help others. Visitation Monday, November 28 at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 W. National Avenue, New Berlin, WI from 9:30 AM, until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon, with lunch to follow. Private entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mary would appreciate donations to Holy Apostles Catholic Church or Waukesha Catholic Memorial High School, 601 E.
