Mary Ruth (Temchulla) McCracken, age 91, of Roseville, Pa., passed away peacefully on Oct. 20, 2016, at the Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital.Mary was born on May 20, 1925, in Richmond Twp., Indiana Co., Pa., to the late Frank and Stella (Yanoski) Temchulla.She graduated from Marion Center High School, class of 1943.She married William F. McCracken Jr., on June 11, 1949, in Corsica, Pa.; after 62 years of marriage, William passed on Nov. 18, 2011.Mary worked for Sylvania in Brookville, Harrison Radiator of Buffalo, New York, and eventually she and William opened the Dairy Treat Ice Cream Stand, which served the Roseville area.She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Independent Baptist Church in Corsica, Pa.She enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading her Bible, going to church, and spending time with her family.Mary is survived by three sons: W. James McCracken, Robert (Alicia) McCracken, Mark (Laura) McCracken; two daughters, Linda (John) Brosius, C. Diane (Robert) Melton, all of Brookville, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Temchulla of Rossiter, Pa., Florian Temchulla of Glen Campbell, Pa.; three sisters, Helen Lockard of Brookville, Pa., Lorraine Anthony of Purcellville, Va., and Lois Brosius of Brookville, Pa.Family and friends were received on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A second visitation took place Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, also at the funeral home. A funeral service was held immediately following the second visitation on Sunday, beginning at 3 p.m., officiated by the Rev. James Chase. Interment was at the St. John's Cemetery (Windy Hill), Rose Twp., Jefferson Co., Pa.Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Mt.
