REGAN, Mary T. (Hunt) Just shy of her 91st birthday from Peabody, former longtime resident of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 24, 1926 in Mt. Druid, Bellinagare Ireland, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (O'Gara) Hunt. She was raised and educated in both Ireland and the U.S. Mrs. Regan had worked as a nurse in the ICU at Salem Hospital for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling to Ireland, Scotland, England, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Bermuda, and Cape Cod with her husband, Roland. As a younger woman, Mary loved to go golfing. She also found great joy spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Roland J. Regan, Jr. and his wife, Cristina M. of Cambridge, his daughters; Paulette Puleo and her husband Charles of Beverly Cove, and Sheila Ohanesian and her husband, Harry of Boxford; her sister, Margaret McCormack of Strokestown, Co. Roscommon, Ireland; her grandchildren; Todd Ohanesian and his wife, Emily of Cambridge; Reaghan Puleo Jung and her husband Philip of Kailua, Hawaii; Scott Ohanesian and his wife Claudia Ortiz of NYC; and Ashley Puleo and her partner Joseph DeMarco of Kailua, Hawaii. Three great-grandchildren; Brynn and Mari Ohanesian and Maeve Jung, as well as several nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Ireland also survive her. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Roland J. Regan, Sr. in 1989, her brothers; Patrick and Matthew Hunt as well as her great-granddaughter, Finley Puleo Boyle. Visiting Hours: Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5-9 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904. Her funeral will begin on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10 AM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street in Lynn.
