Mary Lou ThomasBALTIMORE: Mary Lou Thomas, age 86 of Baltimore, died September 23rd, 2017. She was born on October, 16th, 1930 in Thurston to the late Roy and Clara Householder Clum. Mary Lou was a member of the Millersport United Methodist Church, the Millersport Eastern Star OES 301, being Electa for over 30 years, the Pleasant Grange, the Gabby Gals Card Club, and the Alpha Mothers Club. Mary "Mary Quite Contrary" loved attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events, often being the "bleacher referee". Mary Lou often took requests for her baking and cooking, especially her homemade pies, caramels, and the list goes on.She is survived by daughters, Marcia Thomas and Sue Strickland, sons, Mike (Wanda) Thomas, and Mark Thomas; grandchildren, Jared Thomas, Jason (Rachel) Thomas, Janae (Shawn) Johnston, Justin Thomas, Cassie (Jared) Watson, Haley Strickland, Morgan (Amy) Thomas, great grandchildren, Georgia, Tucker, Mimi, Tessa, Trey, Ty, Kenzington, Kingzton, Kanon, Makenzee, and Paytyn, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Thomas; parents; brothers; and sisters.A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 10:30AM at the Millersport United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Jerry Wiles. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memory Garden. Family and friends may visit, Tuesday from 2PM until 4PM with an Eastern Star Service at 6PM and calling until 8:30 PM at the Johnson Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore.
