Drake, Mary Viola,88, was born on November 5, 1928 in Peoria, IL. to the late Charles and Viola Davis, and passed from this life on October 11, 2017. Mary was retired from the Phillip Morris Co. and a former volunteer for the Home of the Innocents. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Drake. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Judy Bryant; a son, Lonnie Drake; a sister, Myrtle Godbey; 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral service for Mary will be held at noon on Saturday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
