MaryAnn (Nancy) Owens MaryAnn (Nancy) Owens, wife of John Owens of Beaufort, SC, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016. Nancy was born on May 10, 1945 in Scranton, PA to the late Edward F. and Nan McDonough Johnson. Nancy is survived by daughters Heather (Rick) Callahan of Ridgeland, SC, Carol (Jeff) Russell of Vidalia, GA, and sons John (Michelle) Owens of Goose Creek, SC and Terry (Cheryl) Owens of Beaufort, SC. She is also survived by siblings, Edward, Mark, Matthew, Paul Johnson, Donna Soufrine, and Karen DeLucia. Nancy leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly Ann and Kevin Fitzpatrick and siblings Maureen, Judith and David, and one grandson Colt Droze. Nancy was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and was very involved as a Eucharist minister, a member of the bereavement team and faithful participant of adoration. Nancy was the founder of the Beaufort Chapter of the Compassionate Friends Support group and one of the founding members of the Rosary Makers group. The family will have visitation Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Anderson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Lady's Island, Friday November 4, 2016 at 11:30 am, with a private burial to follow. The family will receive visitors at St. Peter's Church social hall at 2 pm.
