Mathew James Penny, known to many as Phantom, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of, Mathew, the heartbeat of our family, left an indelible mark on our lives. His contagious laughter, mischievous grin, and unwavering optimism continue to resonate deeply within us. Mathew was born on December 8, 1998, and tragically left us on October 6, 2024. Mathew resided in Covington, Kentucky United States, where he was beloved by his family and friends. Mathew was the loving son of Verna Lillian Penny. His grandfather Don Penny. He’s also survived by his siblings Crystal Penny and her son Timothy Alexander Burton, Michael Penny sister-in-law Starr Quintrall and their children Zachary Penny and Ruby Penny his niece, and his beautiful, fun, loving niece Josie Rose Parsons daughter of the late Josh Parsons. Although he did not have any children of his own, Mathew was a caring and dedicated family member who always put the needs of others before his own. As a child, Mathew's eyes sparkled with wonder, mesmerized by the virtual worlds of video games. This fascination ignited a fire within, driving him to create his own games, fueled by boundless imagination and relentless curiosity. His passion for gaming blossomed into photography, capturing life's beauty through the lens of his camera. With every snapshot, Mathew's artistic vision grew, inspired by the world around him – the sleek lines of cars, the vibrant hues of nature, and the joyous smiles of loved ones. His camera became an extension of his creative soul, preserving cherished moments and telling stories of love, laughter, and adventure. Mathew's passion for cars was undeniable. He worked at Mike's Automotive Repair, where he poured his heart and soul into making vehicles run smoothly and look their best. Mathew's bond with his brother Michael was forged in the garage, where they shared a love for cars, tinkering with engines, and revving up memories that would last a lifetime. Their camaraderie was a symphony of laughter, sweat, and triumph, strengthening their unbreakable bond. His love for cars was infectious, and he inspired those around him to appreciate the beauty and complexity of automotive engineering. Tragically, Mathew's life was cut short in a devastating car accident. His untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his passion, and his unwavering dedication to his work.
