Matthew Brian Lindsey , 47, of Louisville Kentucky, passed on May 01, 2023. Matthew was born on August 5th 1975 by his mother Sally Burchett. He is survived by his loving wife Melinda Lindsey. They were together a whopping 25 years - a true testament to the power of love and the ability to tolerate loud snoring. He was a father to 3 children Brandy Hudspeth(Thomas Hudspeth III), Dalton Cox(Mekiah Cochran) and Jamie Lindsey(Austin Alvey). All 3 has had a fair share of arguments, laughter and most important memories that can never be forgotten. Some say the gray beard was the result in raising them. As if the wife and 3 kids didnt drive him crazy enough let's mention his 4 grandbabies Jordon, Adriana, Jaxson Hudspeth and Audrey Cox. They all loved there papaw dearly and he adored them and deserved more time but that wasnt in the hand he was dealt. So a guardian angel is what he can be. Although Matt was born in Louisville he resided in Brownsville where he spent his time watching dumb tv shows, dropping ice cubes from the freezer and perfecting his fried chicken everyone loved. He was a man of many talents such as taking naps but telling everyone he was just resting his eyes, only drinking "2" beers, listening to music too loud when it was too late, slurping river clams and stinking up the whole tent, drinking the last bit of coke a cola, using baking soda for antacid, cussing while working on vehicles and always to be loading the dishwasher when everyone arrives. He was there when you needed him. Tought his kids and grandkids many things that will be carried on. He was definitely one of a kind and will be missed more than he knew. Even though he passed away from kidney failure we know that he is in heaven now, drinking a beer remembering the good times he had with the family that loves him so. So many unspoken words, missed moments and memories to be made. Pain free and no more suffering.
