Matthew is survived by his mother, Megan Geyer; his father and stepmother, Matthew and Tiffany Whittle; his sister Briana Whittle; his grandmother Susan Whittle; his grandfather and grandmother Andrew and Blanche Geyer; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Matthew was born in Newark, Delaware on August 13, 1998. He attended Concord High School and graduated in 2016, where he was a member of the cross country and track team.

Matthew had a love of music and enjoyed playing acoustic and electric guitar. He also liked skateboarding, running, and spending time with his sister. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services are being held for Matthew on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 15 Gender Rd., Newark, DE 19713. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m.
