Holschbach, Matthew L.Matthew "Matt" Lee Holschbach, age 39, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2015.Matt was born on April 5, 1976 in Manitowoc. He was the son of Steve E. Holschbach and Cindi S. Meissner Holschbach. Matt graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1994. He was employed as a Network Maintenance Technician with Comcast Xfinity. On September 28, 2005 he married Wendi A. Osmunson. Matt had many joys in life, one of them being his family. Matt was a dedicated husband and father and enjoyed making spaghetti candle light dinners for his girls while listening to Italian music. Matt's daughter Brinn was the light of his life, she could get her dad to do anything if it meant putting a smile on her face. Matt loved all music and enjoyed spending days at his family's cottage on the lake with all of his family. He loved golf and was an avid Brewers fan and was sure to be found watching or attending the games. Matt leaves behind his beloved dog Uecker who always greeted him with kisses when he walked through the door. He is survived by his wife of nine years: Wendi A. Holschbach; his daughter: Brinn Eva Pearl Holschbach; mother and step father: Cindi S. Holschbach and Rick Winter; father and step mother: Stephen E. and Lynne Holschbach; brothers and sisters: Amy (Todd) Dequaine, Bianca Reisner, Luke S. Holschbach and his fiancée Barb Kraynik; maternal grandmother: Doris Meissner; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Donald and Lillian Osmunson; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Raymond and Pearl Holschbach; and maternal grandfather: Russell Miessner.A Life Celebration Social will be held for relatives and friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. At 6 p.m. there will be a time of remembrance and prayer lead by Rev. Dave Beaudry. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials for Prevent Suicide Wisconsin Manitowoc.
