Matthew Scott Kinnear, 20, of Lavon, TX, died unexpectedly on January 28th, 2018.
Matthew was born on August 19th, 1997, in Worcester, MA to Randy and Karen (Teague) Kinnear. He graduated with a GED in 2014 and held various positions in retail, manufacturing, and warehouse over his short working career, and had aspired to serve in the US Army.
Matthew had a heart of gold and possessed an adventurous and gentle spirit. His love for pro football, camping, gaming, and being out on the water were only a few of his interests and passions.
Matthew is survived by his parents, Randy and Karen Kinnear, 2 brothers, Joseph and Daniel Kinnear, 5 sisters, Kayla Maggard, Kelsey Gale, Rebekah Kinnear, and Darcie and Lauren Lamb, his maternal grandmother, Barbara Teague, and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Nancy Kinnear. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as 4 nieces, and 2 nephews, who adored their Uncle Matt. Matthew was predeceased by his brother, Bubba Lamb and maternal grandfather, Richard Teague.
Matthew will be greatly missed by all who love him and leaves a void that can only be filled by the grace, mercy, and love of God our Father.
Friends and family will be gathering together for a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 10:30 am at Open Heavens Church, 2215 Beltline Road, Garland, TX.
