It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maximino Urbina Sr. Jr. "CONEJO", a beloved father, grandfather, husband, and friend. Maximino peacefully passed away on October 6 2024, at his home surrounded by his family, at the age of 64
Born on November 6, 1959, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas Mexico , Maximino grew up with a passion for working on cars and a deep love for his Religious Beliefs as a Jehovah Witness.
Maximino grew up in Chicago Heights and attended Bloom High school. He met the love of his life Enedina Urbina Pimentel, there in Chicago Heights as well. He helped raise her 3 kids from a previous marriage and had 3more kids of his own with her and loved each one equally. He then moved his family to Baytown Texas, He achieved his goal in getting his GED and worked many years at Halterman Chemical Refinery Plant in Chanel view Texas, Maximino eventually Moved his family back to Chicago Heights Illinois and worked for Continental Midland as an Industrial mechanic. His kids were now grown and on their own path in life. Maximino, and his wife moved to Lufkin Texas, and there is where they called it HOME!He worked for the City Of Lufkin and eventually had to retire do to his health.
Outside of work, Maximino was very artistic loved to draw and paint.He loved watching wrestling, listening to music and reading his spiritual scriptures.
Maximino is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Enedina Urbina Pimentel ; his 6 children Marco Antonio Alvarado Urbina, Araceli Alvarado Urbina, Ricardo Alvarado Urbina, Maximino Urbina jr, Esmeralda Urbina, Yesseina Cabrera Urbina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maximino Urbina Sr and Guadalupe Urbina.
Maximino's family invites you to celebrate his life at a memorial service on Saturday, October 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Kingdom Hall, in Lufkin Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Maximino's honor to the American Heart Association
Maximino will be remembered for his generosity, his dedication to family, and his unwavering faith. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
