May Walker, also known as the baking queen of Decatur, Georgia, passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on December 21, 1945, May lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.

May was a proud graduate of Dekalb High School, class of 1963. She later pursued a career as a bus driver, dedicating many years to safely transporting passengers before retiring in 2015.

When she wasn't behind the wheel of a bus, May could often be found in her kitchen, whipping up delicious treats for her family and friends. Her famous chocolate chip cookies were a favorite among all who knew her.

May is survived by her loving partner, Buster, their two children, Eric and Maurice, and five grandchildren. May's family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

May's warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace, forever remembered for her baking skills and the love she shared with those around her.
