May was born November 29, 1954, in Forney, the Daughter of Lee L. Hamilton and Annie Faye Williams Hamilton. She was raised in Forney where she attended public school. She was married to Hollis C. Williams in Kaufman for thirteen years. May was formerly employed as a cook and also in home health. She enjoyed fishing and traveling. Proceeded in death by parents Lee and Annie Hamilton; three sisters, Linda Williams, Nora Henry and Mryle Williams and a brother Earl Black. May is survived by two sons Barnell Willams and Gaylond Williams of will Point; daughter Sherlyn Williams of Wills Point; five brothers Lonnie Williams, Tommy Williams and Billy Williams of Terrell; Grady Sherfield  of Willis Point; Willie Williams of Seagoville; sister Bonnie Williams of Terrell and two grandchildren Kiara Williams of Dallas; Amber McCray of Houston and former husband Hollis Williams of Dallas
