Maya Maria Manger , 66, passed on November 07, 2022 from a stroke. She, as known to many of her friends and family, was born Mayaro City, Trinidad and Tobago on January 19, 1956. 

She's married to the late David Manger in 1972 and they lived together in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Together they raised 9 children. She is survived to 17 grandchildren.

Maya was a gentle, warm hearted person that provided a helping hand to anyone in need. She was strong having to survive cancer in 2013 And she made really good Caribbean food.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Davidson Room of The Pines, 400 Avinger Ln., in Davidson.
