It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mayra Reiher-Villaplana, who was born on June 26, 1947, in Hatillo Cuatro, San José, Costa Rica. Mayra passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 76.

Mayra was a devoted member of the St. Juan organization, where she selflessly dedicated her time and efforts to helping those in need. She had a passion for Catholic Catechism and spent countless hours sharing her love for the faith with others.

Mayra is survived by her loving son Cristian Villaplana and daughter-in-law Tracy Villaplana. She also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren.

Mayra will be remembered for her kind and compassionate nature, her unwavering faith, and her commitment to serving her community. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
