On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, the Lord called him home to eternal rest. McArthur Pearson was a resident of the Peninsula for over 45 years. During his life's journey, he served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed his post military career as a Longshoreman before retiring July 1, 1998 with 24 years of service in Local-846.Viewing will be Monday, November 21, 2016 from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at C. C. Carter Funeral Home, LLC. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Restoration Christian Church located at 606 Denbigh Blvd, Newport News, VA.
