It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Meagan Turner due to gun violence. She was born on June 29, 1995, to Darrell and Renee Turner in San Antonio, Texas. Although her time on earth was too short, Meagan brightened the lives of those around her during her 28 years of life.

Meagan attended Roosevelt High School, where she pursued her education and discovered her passion for learning. Known for her academic excellence and dedication, she set a remarkable example for her peers. Meagan's thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and she cherished the opportunities to expand her mind and grow as an individual.

Beyond her scholarly pursuits, Meagan possessed a warm and compassionate heart. She had a genuine ability to empathize with others and always provided a listening ear to those in need. Her kind nature and ability to uplift those around her were truly remarkable and will always be remembered by her friends and family.

In her free time, Meagan enjoyed spending time outdoors, exploring the beauty of nature. Meagan Turner is survived by her loving parents, Darrell and Renee Turner, who were a constant source of support and encouragement throughout her life. Although Meagan did not have any children of her own, she cherished her role as a beloved daughter and found great joy in the time she spent with her family.

We will gather to honor and celebrate the life of Meagan Turner on 10/23/2023 at Lewis Funeral Home at 811 S. WW White Rd San Antonio, Texas 78218. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Meagan's name to Lewis Funeral Home, as she had a deep commitment to helping others in need.
