On April 20, 2025, we bid farewell to the legendary Meggie Thorpe of Balls, Christ Church, Barbados. Born on January 24, 2005, Meggie lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and love.
Meggie was the beloved daughter of Stevieeee and M-Dawg and the proud mother of two children, Luka and Miles. She devoted herself to her family and supported them in every way possible.
Meggie was a graduate of Concord HIGHschool and later went on to work at the renowned Big Booty Bakery, where she retired in 2024. She also dedicated her time to helping others through her involvement in the Special Olympics organization, where she was recognized for her outstanding contributions.
One of Meggie's greatest passions was her talent for baking. She was known for creating the best cream pies and stuffed pastries in all of Barbados, winning numerous awards for her delicious creations.
Aside from her culinary talents, Meggie was also a skilled contortionist, captivating audiences with her flexibility and grace.
Unfortunately, Meggie's life was tragically cut short due to a senseless act of violence. Her precious son, Luka, took drastic measures after feeling neglected by his mother, a decision that shook the community to its core.
Though her life may have ended prematurely, Meggie Thorpe's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, forever remembered for her kindness, talent, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
