Melanie Mae Martinez departed her earthly home on Monday May 21st 2024 at the age of 16. She was a 10th grade student in the CCISD district. Where she loved playing volleyball and being with her friends. and had a 3.7 GPA.

Melanie was born March 11th 2007 to her lovely parents Samuel Nick Martinez and Veronica Mae Martinez who she loved dearly.

Melanie is preceded in her death by her grandmother, Kay Rosa Martinez and her cousin Danielle Lee Chavez.

She is survived by; her mom and dad Samuel & Veronica. Her grandparents; Fiona & Pablo Chavez, José Martinez. Her 2 siblings; Elijah Martinez, Sophie Martinez. Sister in law; Caitlin Martinez. Her 13 cousins and 4 uncles & 3 aunts. and many friends.

Melanie will always be remembered for her smile and outgoing bubbly personality and for always spreading love and positivity to everyone she came across.

In her free time, Melanie loved going out with friends or being at home with family. Also volunteering at her local church. She loved reading the word of Jesus.

Melanie was very loved and will be missed dearly by her family and friends and all of her church family. She will remembered as bright light and for bringing smiles to everyone she met. And heart full of kindness.
