Memoree Xoe Lockhart, age 25, beloved daughter, sister, mother transitioned in Slidell, LA, Monday morning on December 18, 2017, due to a fatal car crash. She was born on August 15, 1992, in Metairie, Louisiana to Mellanie Hartwell-Lockhart and the Late Emoree Lockhart.

Memoree attended school in Metatie, LA and graduated in 2010 from Grace King High School. On October 7, 2013, she gave birth to a son, Carter Jeremiah McChristien. Memoree began her career in Hattiesburg, Mississippi as a Licensed Funeral Director. She took on this passion her senior year of High School while studying for a class project. Memoree followed her dreams and was in the process of becoming an entrepreneur at the time of her passing.

Memoree was proceded in death by her Father Emoree Lockhart and her younger sister, Peyton Lockhart and her grandparents. She leaves behind two brothers, a sister, a mother, and the joy of her life, her son Carter.

Funeral services for Memoree Lockhart will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Christian Unity Baptist Church, 1700 Conti St, New Orleans, LA 70112 Relatives and friends are welcome at Christian Unity Baptist Church, Friday, December 22, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. for visitations.
