Michael Alan Mittan was born in NE on February 17, 1952 and left his earthly bonds in Colorado Springs, CO on March 27, 2024 after a brief battle with metastatic cancer. He leaves behind older brother Richard(wife Val), younger sister Lisa, best friend and mother of his children Patty Mitchell, daughters Michelle Powell and Jennifer Watts(husband Mike), and grandchildren Dakota, McKenzie, Skylar, Rhianna and Anthony. Michael worked in the grocery business for over fifty years, but the work that truly brought him joy was Ministering to all faiths. He also leaves behind the countless people that he has helped through the years. "If all you do is make one person smile each day, it was all worth it."

A reception will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home in Colorado Springs on June 21, 2024 from 1pm-4pm. 1830 E Fountain Blvd.
