It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Baldwin, who left this world on November 24, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on April 25, 1959, in Mobile, Alabama, Michael was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him.
Michael’s journey through life was marked by his unwavering faith as a devout Christian. He cherished the opportunity to worship the Lord and was deeply involved in his community, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need. Alongside his spiritual devotion, he served his country with honor in the Army, embodying the values of duty and service.
In his personal life, Michael was known for his humorous nature; he had a gift for bringing laughter to any situation and could always be found joking with friends and family. His caring and patient demeanor made him a pillar of support for his loved ones, while his wisdom served as guidance in their lives. Michael’s ability to connect with others was unparalleled, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joy.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Richard Baldwin, whose memory will forever be cherished. Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Antoinette Castaneda-Baldwin, and his extended family, including his stepsons, Michael Macias and Andrew Macias, his stepdaughters, Adrianna, Brianna, and Arrianna Castaneda, and his stepson, Julian Castaneda. He is also survived by his sons John, Marcel and Ray Baldwin, and his daughter Sheryl Baldwin, along with daughter-in-law Regina Baldwin. Michael’s legacy continues through his grandchildren, Samuel, Charles, and Shanice Baldwin, who will always remember the love and wisdom he imparted.
