It is with great sadness and a sense of total shock that we announce the passing of Michael Burgess on May 23, 2024. Born on July 13, 1982, in Buffalo, New York, Michael was the beloved son of Paul Burgess and Susan Parks.

Despite having no children of his own, Michael was known for his love of family get-togethers and his passion for fishing. He was always the life of the party, cracking jokes and making everyone around him laugh.

Unfortunately, Michael's life was cut tragically short by an unexpected event. It is a cruel twist of fate that someone so full of life and laughter could be taken from us so suddenly.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Michael by sharing a funny memory or a good laugh in his honor. He would have wanted us to celebrate his life with joy and laughter, just as he lived it.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear friend. We will never forget the joy you brought into our lives.
