ROSEBORO — Michael "Shady" Allen Williams, 33, of Roseboro, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11, at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Roseboro with the Rev. John Hobbs and the Rev. Dudley Neal officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Allen was born on June 4, 1983, in Sampson County. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Madelene and William Earl Hairr.
He was a 2001 graduate of Lakewood High School and a loyal Duke Blue Devils fan. He loved music, family and friends and spending time together, and his greatest love was his sister, Paige.
Allen is survived by his parents, Michael and Denise Williams of Roseboro; sister, Paige Williams of Roseboro; grandparents, Harvey and Fannie Williams of Roseboro; and special aunt and uncle, Kathy and Troy Faircloth of Clinton. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog Jack.
The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11, at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church just prior to the service and at other times at 1492 Bass Lake Road, Roseboro.
