It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Johnson, a beloved member of the Baltimore City community. Michael, 64, departed this world on December 6, 2024. He was a pillar of strength and kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His infectious laughter and warm smile will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Michael A Johnson was born June 22,1960 to his parents Charles W Johnson and Pearlie A Barnett. They raised him with his siblings to respect other and always help other. He grew to love God and to respect the life given to him by always putting other first. He even instilled this quality into his two daughter's Brittany Johnson and Nayshonn Bond. He also served as a correctional office for forty years. Doing his part to keep city safe for his family. He was a great man that did what he could for his family. On game day you would find Michael cheering for the Ravens while eating a chicken box from church square. Or having a crab feast and jamin to the Beatle classics. Michael loved to spend time with the ones he cared for, always laughing and boosting about his two daughters, how proud he was of them, and complaining how they didn't give him grandkids.
Micheal is proceeded in death by both parents Charles W Johnson and Pearlie A Barnett. Three brothers and one sister Charles, David, Paul and Suzette Johnson. Two aunts Rosalee Rather and Esther Barnett. One nephew and two nieces Raymond, Roslyn and Ruby. He leaves to honor his memory his two daughters Brittany Johnson and Nayshonn Bond. One aunt and Uncle Roslyn Degraffinreis and Ross Barnett. One niece Patrice. A host of great nieces and nephews Andrew, Taylor, Edward, Ricky, John, and Ernest. Also hundreds of extended family, close friends and co-workers.
You can to the family or in memory of Michael Johnson.
