Michael Esposito, a beloved resident of Grimes, CA, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 18th at the age of 82. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Michael's life was marked by his dedication to community service as a volunteer firefighter, his unwavering passion for knowledge, an avid reader, his love of movies, and his passion for the outdoors as a hunter and proud member of the NRA.
For an impressive span of 50 years, Michael skillfully ran and owned San Antonio Construction Company, leaving an indelible mark on the community he served. In a remarkable display of lifelong learning and determination, he pursued his love for education at the age of 69, ultimately graduating from Cerritos College with an associate degree.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Vada Ruggieri; father, John Esposito; brother, David Esposito, and is survived in death by his cherished wife, Barbara, with whom he shared a remarkable 62-year journey filled with love and devotion. He also leaves behind a legacy of love through his three children, Angie, Beth, and Tony, as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
To honor Michael's remarkable life, a celebration of his achievements and lasting impact will be held at Granzella's on July 21st at 11:00 a.m. We invite all those who knew and loved him to join us in paying tribute to a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many.
