Michael Coca, 53, A lifetime resident of Las Vegas passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012.He was born on June 15, 1959, in Las Vegas to the late Nicolas Coca Sr. and Tomasita Martinez Coca.Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, working in his shop, fishing, and spending time with his sons and grandsons. He was a heavy equipment operator for several different construction companies in Las Vegas and Santa Fe. He was a Catholic and attended the Immaculate Conception Church.He is preceded in death by his parents: Nicolas and Tomasita Coca; sisters; Ramona, Cerilia and Jenny Coca; nephew: Jerry Coca Jr.; sisters-in-law: Cora Coca, Sophie Coca and Susan Leger; father-in-law: James Leger; and brother-in-law: Gary Leger.He is survived by his wife: Josephine Leger of the family home; sons: Matthew Coca and wife Angelica of Albuquerque and Aaron Coca of Las Vegas; grandsons: Matthew Jr. And Zackariah Coca of Albuquerque; mother-in-law: Josephine Leger of Las Vegas; sisters: Margaret Downs and husband Bill of Las Vegas and Helen Sandoval and husband Tanny of Colorado Springs; brothers: Jerry Coca Sr., Joe Coca, and John Coca and wife Connie all of Laramie, Wyo.; Salvador Coca and wife Inez of Rio Rancho, Nick Coca Jr. And wife Mae Las Vegas, Benny Coca and wife Debbie of Watrous and Pete Coca and wife Christine of Ruidoso; brothers-in-law: James Leger Jr. of Las Vegas, George Leger and wife Gina of Mesa, Ariz.; Wayne Leger and wife Loretta of Albuquerque and Bobby Leger and wife Evelyn of Las Vegas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with the following casket bearers: Pam Sandoval, Sonny Vigil, Nick Coca III, Eddie Quintana, Steven Coca, Christie Coca, Joseph Leger, and Bobby Leger. Honorary bearers will be his remaining nieces, nephews and all his motorcycle buddies.Arrangements are under the direction of Rogers Mortuary.
