Michael Duane Penson, Sr., age 69, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2016. He was born on March 31, 1947, in Denison, Texas, to Earl "Wayne" and Ruby (Padgett) Penson. He was a 1965 graduate of Page High School in Page, Arizona.Michael married the love of his life and best friend, Sherry (Smith) Penson, on March 28, 1980, in Durant, Oklahoma. He had a very successful career as a master electrician for IBEW, allowing him to travel the country.Michael was an avid hunter, fisherman and gun enthusiast. He loved spending time with his loving wife and spoiling his grandchildren. His colorful stories and sense of humor will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.Michael is survived by his wife that he loved dearly for 36 years, Sherry; son Michael D. Penson, Jr of Denison, Texas; daughter, Kelly L. Eberle and husband Edward of Pottsboro, Texas, and two grandchildren, whom he adored, Hope L. Penson and Hunter B. Eberle of Pottsboro, Texas.Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ruby Penson, as well as his sister Mildred Willis.Michael was cremated according to his wishes.
