Burleson, Michael "Mike" Eugene Michael Eugene Burleson was born on 5 August 1956 in Laon France to Ned G. Burleson (CMSgt Ret.) and Mary Francis Burleson (Dupre) and passed away in Phoenix, AZ on Thursday 3 August 2017. He graduated from Del Valle High School (Texas) in 1974, attended New Mexico State University (1975-1978) and served at Arizona Public Service for 38 years, most recently as an Electric Grid Operator. Mike married Kimberly Dawne Dunlap in 2006 and will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, work, the Dodgers, his Harley, cigars, Bud Light and his green yard. He is survived by his wife Kimberly, his sons Carly Anderson and his wife Wendy of Dallas, TX; Evan Burleson of Phoenix, AZ; Joel Burleson-Davis and his wife Jenna of Austin, TX and Ian Krznarich and his fiance Kristin of Phoenix, AZ; his mother Mary Burleson of Santa Fe, NM; 4 grandsons, Daniel Anderson, Trevor Burleson, Trey Krznarich and Emmitt Burleson; 3 granddaughters, Stephany Cuellar, Georgia Burleson-Davis and Audrey Burleson-Davis; brothers James Burleson and his wife Lorinda of Santa Fe, NM, David Burleson and his fiance Shelly of Las Cruces, NM, sisters Elizabeth Schumacher and her husband John of Portland, Oregon and Maureen McComb and her husband Doug of Elkhorn, NE. Mike is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ned G. Burleson (CMSgt Ret.). A celebration of his life was held Sunday 6 August 2017 at the Moon Valley Grill and while he is gone physically too soon, his spirit will live on in the lives of those he touched.
